Evilasahobby - For Those Who Can't Do It Full-time

I completed a Fighting & Secrets Guide for Buffy 2 on the Xbox. The game wasn't the greatest, but I wanted to unlock everything before I put it away and since no-one had done a guide like that... well, it worked out.

Got a couple of emails about it (and some of my older guides) which is nice, but I've found I can't remember things about a game I last played 6 months (or longer) ago. Senility, perhaps? In any event, I try to help those I can, but don't promise anything.

Did get an email from one guy who started out by insulting me, then finished with request for help. Moron.

I've been receiving a huge number of emails from people about my OpF and Buffy faqs. None for ages, then -bang- all at once. Must be the result of the holidays.

General Thoughts 4/11/02

When I get the time I like writing up faqs for computer games I enjoyed playing. The writing of the faq often drains the last remaining enthusiasm I have for the game from me, but playing the game from a more technical and analytical viewpoint often gives me some new experiences so it's not a total waste. Plus I get to help people (awwwww....)

I submit my faqs to GameFAQs first and let other sites take them from there. My general thoughts are "I wrote this to help people, so I'm happy for as many sites to get it as possible". I only ask that the materials I produce are not altered from their original form and content without my permission and that no charge is made to those who wish to access it.
